Squad Responds to Van in Creek

Summit EMS responds to motor vehicle accident at Municipal Golf Course

The First Aid Squad was dispatched along with the Summit Fire and Police deparments to this accident in the parking lot of Summit's Municipal Golf course. The driver of the van, the sole occupant had stopped in the parking lot for break and found himself driving into the culvert that runs from the pond to the Passaic River.  After Summit firefighters assisted the driver from the vehilcle, he was was treated for injuries and transported to Morristown Medical Center by Summit Volunteer EMS.  A paramedic unit from Atlantic Health (Overlook) also responded and accompanied our ambulance crew on the trip to Morristown.
