While signs of Mother Nature's spring are eagerly awaited, the Summit Volunteer First Aid squad is putting up its own Capital Campaign signs all around the town, urging support for squad's badly needed new building.
Preparing to place the first sign in front of the SVFAS' building, the site of the new headquarters, (from left) are squad members Jerry Madden, Barbara Szymanski and Ken Herr, squad treasurer.
With $4 million raised to date, the 52-year old squad is seeking the final $1 million needed from friends and neighbors across the community.
Look for signs which will soon be sprouting at City Hall, the Village Green, the Recycling Center, the Summit Diner and other places, too.
